Project proposal summary
The Peer Leaders – Catch the Spirit project involves the TEACH (Teachers & Educators Around Castle Hill) cluster schools reviewing the peer support program which is designed to develop young people who are:
- personally responsible for their own wellbeing;
- able to manage their lives positively and safely;
- involved in, and supported by, their community.
In order to support our young people to achieve this, the program supports young people to develop:
- a strong sense of self,
- connectedness,
- resourcefulness and
- a sense of possibility for the future.
Utilising the knowledge gained from the review and associated case studies we will set further strategic directions.
