Project proposal summary

The Peer Leaders – Catch the Spirit project involves the TEACH (Teachers & Educators Around Castle Hill) cluster schools reviewing the peer support program which is designed to develop young people who are:

  • personally responsible for their own wellbeing;
  • able to manage their lives positively and safely;
  • involved in, and supported by, their community.

In order to support our young people to achieve this, the program supports young people to develop:

  • a strong sense of self,
  • connectedness,
  • resourcefulness and
  • a sense of possibility for the future.

Utilising the knowledge gained from the review and associated case studies we will set further strategic directions.
