Project proposal summary
The Nerang Alliance of State Schools values-based project, Aligning the Alliance, proposes to use social literacy as the main vehicle to inculcate values education within all key learning areas across the Nerang Alliance of State Schools learning community. We believe that social literacy is a core learning component for all levels of the alliance. Therefore, it is the medium through which we can teach values education to improve the resilience and learning capacity of our students. Over time, we should be able to influence the social capital of our wider community.
Beechmont State School, part of the Nerang Alliance of State Schools, has information on its values peer groups on its website.
