Project proposal summary

The Noarlunga Centre Cluster of schools through the 'Restorative Practices built on Values Education Project’ aims to:

  • align values education and restorative practices within each school’s curriculum and pedagogy;
  • incorporate values in problem-solving in the classroom, in the yard and in school-based community activities;
  • develop and implement ‘common values language’ to be used by teachers, administrators, leaders, students, parents and the community;
  • formalise restorative practices within our school management policies and procedures.

Our project has a number of dimensions to it, which focus on curriculum, systems thinking, administrative practices, school policies and community capacity building.
